Jay Aspin

Jay Aspin, a lifelong resident of North Bay, Jay is married to Joanne and has two children and two grandchildren.

Being a dedicated community person, with an extensive career in public service and international private business, Jay knew that Nipissing-Timiskaming was not receiving the government assistance it deserved and set out to change that.

Jay was first elected in May 2011, rolled up his sleeves and went to work.

Since that time Jay’s proactive, strategic and collaborative approach has proven that working together with government has delivered measurable results for the people, businesses and communities of Nipissing-Timiskaming.

Jay has served on a number of Standing Committees including Clean Tech Caucus, Public Safety and National Security, Status of Women and Public Accounts.

Jay wants to continue his work on making our community safe for our children, fighting for lower taxes and continuing to reduce unemployment and increase job growth.

Jay was elected by the great people of Nipissing – Timiskaming and looks forward to working alongside of his constituents, as we continue to keep the momentum going.
